How to install HEVC codec for free
Honeycam uses Windows built-in video codecs when loading most videos except WebM. So it is not possible to load videos that are now playable on a Windows built-in media player. HEVC codec is, Recently, used often for encoding MP4 but is not included in Windows 10 because its license is commercial. That's why Honeycam can't load MP4 files encoded using HEVC codec. Here's a good news, however, there's a way to install HEVC codec for free. Just follow the instructions below.

Just click the Install button when the store pops up. That's all.
If everything is okay, you can see the thumbnail of video files that you can't see before. (Please choose Large Icon in the View menu of the File Explorer.) You might not see the the thumbnail of video files because the free HEVC codec does not support all video files encloded by HEVC codec.
Just drag and drop a video file onto Honeycam in case you have no problem to see the thumbnail of a video file.
