Bandisoft MPEG-1 decoder is freeware. Freeware is computer software that is available for use at no cost or for an optional fee. You can freely install and redistribute it unless it delivered as is except of destribution by customer of our product (Bandi Capture Library, Bandi Video Library).

This package supplies silent installation by using /S option. It automatically upgrades previous version if needed.

Introduction

It compresses video file more effectively than MJPEG codec maximum up to 5 times, because it compresses video file by motion compression /compensation. MPEG1 codec is well known codec and many UCC site support MPEG1 video uploading.

Unfortunitely windows internal codec can't handle high resolution, higher framerate, and frame skipping, you must install this codec to edit or play MPEG1 video file in other players such as GOM player.



Unified codec pack also support MPEG1 video/audio file. But it is too heavy because other unneeded codec is also installed. this codec only installs minimal codecs to play encoded by MPEG1 codec.

Uninstall

If you want to uninstall, use control panel's add/remove functionality to remove it.
